Ingredients: sponge biscuit banana Dark chocolate wooden skewers various decorations.
Place dark chocolate into the
top of a double boiler and stir over simmering water until chocolate has
melted. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
Chocolate can also be melted in the microwave. Place roughly
chopped chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes on
medium/ 50%/500 watt power
Peel the bananas and cut into 1/2-inch rounds. Place the banana between the biscuit and Drop the macaron looking
biscuit into the chocolate and turn to coat. Lift out with a fork and place the
bonbon into a bowl with flaked coconut and cover it well. Repeat to
dip and coat the remaining bisquits.
Decorate the bon bons with nice wooden skewers and leave the bonbons until the
chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
